Colorado wilderness elk hunting and mule deer huntingThe hunting in this permit area is very good for branch-antlered elk and nice mule deer bucks. Access is via East Elk Creek, north of New Castle, Colorado, and you ride up onto the south edge of the Flattops, where the camps are. Views are terrific and the setting is pristine. There are no power lines, ATV trails, or roads.
Camp gear, tents, tack, equipment, website includedThe business has not been run to its full effect since Tom passed away a few years ago, but there is still a good client list of hunters who would like to book for upcoming seasons. This business comes with all the camp gear, tents, equipment, and tack to run it effectively, but does not include horses. Horses can be purchased separately if so desired, but most of them are older stock.
